Even though we have grown massively over the last 6 years I’ve been here, I still feel like we are all known individually to the company. We have constant interaction from the owners and other Directors within the business, you feel like you’re not just a number working for O’Neill & Brennan but a valued member of a growing team. You are given the autonomy to plan your own diary and manage your own business and have the flexibility to decide whether to spend a day in the office or out and about meeting clients and candidates. Financially you are rewarded well for working hard.
The company has grown massively since I joined, we have a much better market presence around the Midlands now and have become recognised for our white collar recruitment service in combination with the blue. We have been accepted onto a multitude of PSL’s enabling us to expand who we work with and where we work, which has given us the flexibility to diversify into new sectors.
Upon joining O’Neill & Brennan I was trained by a Managing Consultant who has in excess of 15 years experience working in white collar construction recruitment. There was a mix of hands on learning by shadowing and also classroom style learning to really get to grips with the role, this has then been followed up with ongoing training through our new Training Academy.
I have only ever worked in recruitment at O’Neill & Brennan so difficult to compare with my previous roles; however the fact I’m still here after 6 years can only be a good sign and a positive reflection on how I’ve found working for the company.
At O’Neill & Brennan you’re given all of the tools and support to succeed in the best way you can, be prepared that any recruitment role isn’t a 9-5 job so you need to organised and committed. With all that combined you really get back what you put in
